Joel S. Goldsmith was born in New York City in 1892. He was a great spiritual teacher, author, healer and mystic. In 1947, he gained recognition with the publication of his book The Infinite Way®. This book was written by Joel after thirty years of study and meditation, revealing healing principles and the spiritual unfoldments that came to him throughout the course of his lifetime.
Joel was literate in Greek, Aramaic and Sanskrit and he sought out those places in the world to study original scriptures. He came to recognize specific spiritual principles in scripture where an individual could study them to raise their spiritual consciousness and receive illumination. In time, Joel wrote numerous books on mysticism and spiritual living. He lectured on these revelations widely throughout the world. He also maintained a correspondence with over five thousand individuals at a time. Those recorded lectures from 1950 to 1964 later became the source of many of Joel’s books. His teaching has been a source of inspiration worldwide and has helped millions.
Joel quietly made his transition on June 17, 1964. His work continues to be studied on five continents.
